As a Fund Controller, you will be responsible for the fund portfolio together with colleagues within the Fund Team. You will handle daily administrative and tax-related matters for this fund portfolio and be the point of contact for the client.
Specifically, these will be your responsibilities:
– Independently update fund administration;
– Independently process invoices;
– Independently prepare payment proposals;
– Independently prepare periodic reports and client communications;
– Prepare and prepare periodic NAV statements;
– Correctly process closings, drawdowns, and distributions at the investor level;
– Correctly process fair values of portfolio companies;
– Calculate performance fees for the fund managers;
– Assist with the launch of new funds for the managers, including reviewing subscription forms and performing KYC checks;
– Preparing reports for regulators (Tax Authorities, AFM, and DNB, among others)
– Assessing whether a fund’s activities comply with the fund’s terms and conditions;
– Assisting in preparing draft annual accounts and the associated compilation files;
– Preparing VAT and dividend returns;
– Addressing client inquiries and ensuring timely follow-up;
Knowledge and Experience
– You have successfully completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree (accountancy, business economics, or equivalent);
– You have 2 to 5 years of work experience in a similar position.
