Role: Finance Controller
Location: Netherlands
Reporting To: CFO

This role is responsible for overseeing financial activities, reporting, budgeting, and compliance within the company.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations (such as GAAP or IFRS). Monthly MIS, Quarterly Financials, and related information to be provided to PCL India. Overviewing of accounting done by junior staff.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial projections. Provide insights to management on variances and financial performance against budgets.

3. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure the accuracy of financial data, and compliance with policies and regulations.

4. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic business decisions. Provide recommendations to improve financial performance, cost-efficiency, and profitability.

5. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with financial regulations and ensure the company’s financial practices comply with relevant laws and regulations. VAT return, CIT return, and other related compliances.

6. Cash Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the company meets its financial obligations and funding requirements.

7. Financial Planning: Collaborate with other departments to develop long-term financial plans and strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.

8. Taxation: Oversee tax planning and compliance activities, ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns and adherence to tax laws.

9. Financial Systems: Evaluate, implement, and maintain financial systems and software to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:
– 6-8 years of relevant work experience
– Professional accounting/ controlling qualification
– Financial analysis capabilities
– Experience in Financial / Internal controls governance
– Good business acumen
– Working knowledge of SAP ERP systems, financial applications, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
– Good Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
– International mindset and ability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds
– Team player – being able to work with multiple colleagues from many departments
– Communication and advisory skills – ability to precisely summarize key topics
