Role: Sales Controller
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing multinational tyre manufacturer with a global footprint. The company offers a comprehensive product portfolio spread across passenger cars, light trucks, truck-bus, off-highway, and bicycle tyres. The company has a manufacturing
presence in Asia and Europe with 8 modern tyre facilities and exports to over 118 countries.

What is the position?
The Sales Controller position has the role to inspire and support a performance culture in the company through
1) Enhancing financial focus in planning and budgeting,
2) Providing financial insights for better business decision
3) Analyzing actual performance against plan, budget, forecast, and historical
performance and supporting adequate follow-up actions
4) Sales accounting to enable accurate financial figures can be forecast and recorded
5) Developing and maintaining an appropriate management reporting structure.

What are the responsibilities?

Management reporting/Business Reviews
Provide comprehensive and efficient analysis and management information on sales and financial performance to meet business needs and to support decision-making to Top Management. Assist in monitoring sales and financial results compared to
budget/forecast/prior year, i.e. Participating in monthly reviews with Head of Sales and Country visits

Sales Budget and Forecasting
Ensure the forming of the budget by coordinating the budget process between various departments: Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Pricing, IT, Product Management, etc., and finalization as per Group Timelines.
Participation in the Budget review meetings, analysis of the Sales Budget; financials, and preparing the presentation and budget Books for Subs

OEM Business Partner
Establish and maintain efficient and effective processes ensuring adequate corporate oversight and review of business cases for OEMs including adequate input from subject matter experts i.e., plant finance, R&D, Group Head – International Accounts and Finance, etc. by
consolidation, assessing the consistency.

Project Management
Closely working with other internal parties (i.e. IT, Pricing) as well as participating and coordinating Finance improvement projects and assisting in developing and implementing admin policies and procedures, ensuring process efficiency and service quality

Do you have what it takes? (requirements)
• A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance-related major
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position controller in an international organization
• Good knowledge and experience with SAP (ERP and/or other FICO modules) and data analytics
• Willing to travel on a quarterly basis to offices in Europe
• An action-oriented and result-driven mindset with excellent analytical and communication skills
• A strong personality with the ability to influence and get things done
• Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
