Job Title: Senior IT Auditor
Location: Romania
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct various IT Audits following our methodology and other relevant regulatory requirements and/or standards
• Plan and conduct IT audits performed as part of the financial external audit
• Identify and communicate findings to client personnel
• Recognize performance improvement opportunities for clients
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, industry standards, and cybersecurity laws
• Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and update audit procedures accordingly
• Evaluate controls related to financial data integrity, confidentiality, and availability
• Communicate audit results, financial system risks, and management recommendations
Required Education and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Information Systems Management, Cybernetics, Information Technology, or related
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT audits
• Ability to identify risks and controls in various IT systems (applications, computer networks, operating systems, databases)
• Ability to test the IT controls (entity level, IT general controls, application level) and to identify compensating controls
• Basic knowledge of various IT environments
• Very good technical and business English
• Ability to identify and resolve IT-related business issues and provide innovative solutions both for IT and business
• Work effectively either individually or as a member of a multi-skilled team
• Ability to adapt to an intensive work environment and to multi-task effectively• Drive for developing professionally and building long-term relationships with colleagues from various teams
• Professional discipline, accuracy, reliability, and excellent analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, resilience, flexibility, adaptability and self- motivation
• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC or ISO27001 will be considered a plus
