Our client looking for a professional with excellent tax knowledge, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Their team is growing rapidly, and your initiatives will contribute to the further development of their VAT practice. There is room for entrepreneurship: you not only identify opportunities but also seize them. During commercial events and networking meetings, you show others the added value of our VAT services.
As a VAT specialist, you will work with your own clients, located both in the Netherlands and abroad. You combine practical advice with creative solutions. The consultancy activities focus on both National and International VAT matters. You will manage part of the client portfolio and, together with fellow advisors within the multidisciplinary tax team of the company, hold discussions with clients. You are also proactive, ambitious, and pragmatic, and able to convert complex matters into simple, practical solutions that suit the client. You also guide less experienced VAT advisors and are ready to answer technical questions.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree in tax law, tax economics, or similar
- At least 6 years of work experience in a national and/or international VAT practice, preferably in multiple facets of VAT
- Preferably a completed NOB or the desire to obtain one
- Good technical and practical control of VAT
- A proactive, honest, and customer-oriented attitude
