Job Title: VAT Compliance Consultant/ Senior VAT Compliance Consultant

Job Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

As a VAT Compliance Consultant, you are responsible for a wide range of tax tasks, including preparing VAT returns, Intrastat declarations, and declarations of Intra-Community performances. You will work closely with clients to identify and resolve VAT-related challenges and support them in preparatory work. You also keep them informed of relevant developments in the field of VAT legislation. You will also critically assess the tax processes surrounding VAT returns and propose improvements to ensure efficiency and compliance. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, and your expertise will play a crucial role in their financial strategies.

We are looking for someone who has:

• An HBO or WO diploma in tax law, tax economics, or similar 2 – 5 years of work experience within a tax reporting practice Knowledge of VAT regulations and tax legislation
• Customer-oriented with a proactive attitude Dutch and English are excellent
